Congressman Gibson Highlights Solar Energy Installation In Brunswick

Congressman Chris Gibson (NY-20) announced that on Thursday, January 26, he would hold a press conference and tour the new solar array system installed at Sycaway Creamery in Brunswick by New York Light Energy Corp.
Gibson will be accompanied by  Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin, Rensselaer County Executive Kathy Jimino, NYSERDA President and CEO Frank Murray and Brunswick Town Supervisor Phil Herrington.
Sycaway Creamery installed two photovoltaic systems to lower energy costs and return electricity to the grid using State and federal renewable energy programs.

Continuing a tradition they began last year, a bipartisan group of Upstate New York Members gathered in the Capitol before heading to sit together at the State of the Union Address Tuesday evening. From L-R: Rep. Paul Tonko (D-21), Rep. Kathy Hochul (D-26), Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle (R-25), Rep. Richard Hanna (R-24), Rep. Brian Higgins (D-27), Rep. Chris Gibson (R-20), and Rep. Bill Owens (D-23).
