HFCS Choir To Perform With Albany Pro Musica

January 26, 2012 By eastwickpress

Hoosick Falls Central School Jr./Sr. Choir is on the road again. They will be performing for the second consecutive year at the Troy Savings Bank High School Choral Festival XII with Albany Pro Musica. This event delivers a delightful and inspiring afternoon of great choral music, featuring more than 250 students from seven area high schools. Each school performs its own set of musical offerings and then the entire group joins Albany Pro Musica on stage for a 300 voice finale.
The 2012 Choral Festival will be held on Sunday, February 12, at 4 pm. Tickets cost $10, and there is general seating.
This will be the second time this school year for the HFCS Choir, under the direction of Ambigay Yudkoff, to perform at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. In October they performed with the Boston String Quartet. These students enjoy the challenge to learn difficult music and much in different languages.
