Hoosick Falls Thrift Store Open Two Extra Days In January

January 6, 2012 By eastwickpress

Local Girl Scouts will once again open the Thrift Store on the first Friday and Saturday of the month. The hours are Friday, January 6, from 4 to 7 pm and Saturday, January 7, from 9:30 am to noon. The shop is also open weekly on Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
This is a great time to get winter clothing. There is a huge selection of clothes for all ages, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Prices vary, ranging from $.25 (children’s clothing) to $1 for men’s and women’s tops, pants and skirts and $3 for adult jackets and suits. Or shoppers can fill a provided shopping bag for $3. Only cash will be accepted for purchases.
The Thrift Store is located at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (far right door when you are facing the Church) on the second floor on Main Street, Hoosick Falls.
The proceeds from these events will benefit the store and programs for Girl Scouts. If you have questions, please email GirlScoutsHoosick@gmail.com or contact Joyce Brewer, Community Chair at 518-686-4942.
