I-Am-Demise

January 6, 2012 By eastwickpress

submitted by Barry Volkert
Barry Volkert and Bonnie Glessner, father and stepmother, are very proud of Chester Volkert and what he accomplished when he formed and got his band I-Am-Demise together and practiced the past 3 months along with Josh Whaley, who organized a deal with Bogies in Albany to let them audition on November 20. If it were not for Chester and Josh sticking with it and getting enough people together, it would not have happened. They got very great reviews that night and plan to keep practicing to get more places to play.

Local youths form the band I-Am-Demise. They are (l to r) Gage Tinkler, James Mayer of Stephentown, Josh Whaley, Chester Volkert of Stephentown, Liam Slate and Dave Hennessy. Photo courtesy of Barry Volkert.
