The Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Whitehall on Wednesday, December 21, by the score of 4-0. Hoosick Falls now has a record of 31-1 and Whitehall now has a record of 6-18. The top bowler for Whitehall was Rich Tisi with a 233-609. The top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Josh McCart 279-697, Josh Conn 215-636, Joe Wolfrum 259-614, Bryan Callahan 236-601, Mitch Andrew 202-591 and Mikaela Marbot 209-534. “We got another good win on our home lanes with some good scoring. Josh McCart had a great day with his 279-697, and Josh Conn had a very consistent triple with all 200 games for a nice 636. We are going into the Christmas break with a good start to our season. The team must continue to work hard because we have some tough matches coming up in January,”  said Coach Lang.

Corinth was led by Brandon Crannell with a 262-554. Hoosick Falls’ top bowlers were Mitch Andrew 255-714, Joe Wolfrum 237-661, Josh McCart 224-586, Bryan Callahan 221-585 and Josh Conn 191-542. “I think that this was the best team effort so far this year. Everyone on the team either had a great game or a great triple. We had a little trouble in the beginning of the match getting used to the lane conditions, but once we got lined up the bowlers recorded some great scores. I hope that we can continue to bowl like this for our home match against Stillwater on Thursday,” Coach Lang said.
