Randall E. James

Eagle Bridge – Randall E. James, 67, passed away at his residence on Friday, January 13, 2012. He resided on Shaker Hollow Road in Eagle Bridge, NY, with his wife Judy Casciare-James.
Born on February 5, 1944, in Hoosick Falls, NY, Randy was the son of the late Everett and Phebe (Rice) James. He graduated with the first graduating class from Hoosick Falls Central School. Randy was employed for forty years at Stanley Tools in Shaftsbury, VT, retiring in 2002. He loved a game of golf, especially with his good buddy Bob. Randy played drums for many years with local bands and also enjoyed playing horseshoes. His interests included his beloved English bulldogs, horses and many cats.
Survivors, other than his wife Judy, include his children, Terrence James and wife Penny of Shaftsbury, Tina Casey and husband William of Bennington, VT, Trisha Cooney and husband John of Eagle Bridge and Tatum Levin and husband Peter of Shaftsbury, his eleven grandchildren, his four great-grandchildren and several cousins.
Funeral services were Thursday, January 19, at 12 noon from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090. Burial followed the service at the Hoosick Rural Cemetery, Hoosick, NY. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 am until the start of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hoosick Falls Health Center through the funeral home.
