Dale E. Lee

Hoosick Falls – Dale E. Lee, 60, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy, NY. He had  resided on Church Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, with his wife Ruth (Ormsbee) Lee whom he married on December 31, 2011.
Born on January 6, 1952, in Granville, NY, Dale was the son of the late Walter and Joyce (Stevens) Lee. He graduated from Granville High School. Dale worked in the financial business for thirty years. At the time of his passing he was a partner at North Country Financial located in Latham, NY. Dale had a passion for deep sea fishing in Maine, where he competed and won several tournaments. His other hobby was raising bearded dragons. He was a member of the Hoosick Falls Kiwanis Club, where he was President and Past President for three terms. Most of all, Dale enjoyed the time he spent with his family.
Survivors, other than his wife Ruth, include his sons, Zachery Lee and wife Shelby of Hoosick Falls and Jarimi Lee and wife Kaye of Jackson, NY, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Cyndhia Brown and husband Roger of Hubbardton, VT, and Jody Monroe and husband Mike of Granville, and a brother, Steven Lee and wife Diane of Granville, as well as several nieces and nephews. Dale is pre-deceased by a sister, Sharon Cook.
Relatives and friends called at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090, on Wednesday, February 1, from 4 to 6 pm. Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Albany Medical Center Pediatric Trauma Center through the funeral home.
