Water Under The Tracks

Water was shut off on a portion of Elm Street in Hoosick Falls on Thursday, February 2, when a water line broke. [private]The break was difficult to repair because the street runs across the railroad tracks and both sides had to be torn up and the water main under the tracks had to be repaired. Shut off valves were placed on either side of the tracks.
