Bruce A. Chapman Jr.

Stephentown – Bruce A. Chapman, Jr., 51, of Route 22, Stephentown, NY, died suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
Born in Pittsfield, MA, on May 3, 1960, he was the son of Bruce A. and Patricia Cote Chapman. A graduate of  Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton, MA, Bruce enlisted in the United States Navy in 1982, serving on the USS Iwo Jima during non-combat times. He was honorably discharged in 1990. Upon returning home, he worked odd jobs in the area before moving to Stephentown ten years ago. At the time of his death, he was employed by Goldstein Automotive Group. Bruce loved fishing and bowling. He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Survivors, besides his parents, include a brother, Todd E. and wife Ercilia Chapman of Pittsfield, a nephew, Nicholas Chapman, and a niece, Jessica Chapman.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Hall & Higgins Funeral Home of Stephentown.
