Hoosick Falls Police Blotter – March 4 to March 11, 2012

Sunday, March 4 – Domestic Dispute investigation on River Street. Arrested for striking the victim was Jay Valentino, age 61, of 45 River Street. He was arrested for Menacing 3rd and Harassment 2nd. He was arraigned and bail was set at $1,000. The victim was treated at the scene.
Investigation of suspicious vehicle on Fourth Street. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was broken down.
Investigation of a Domestic Dispute on Abbott Street
Monday, March 5 – EMS on Church Street
Burglary Investigation on Manton Street.
Investigation of Larceny of gasoline from vehicle on Manton Street
Traffic Arrest; arrested was Michael Ciempa, age 35, of Howland Avenue, Adams, MA. Subject was charged with Operating without a license, speeding and unregistered motor vehicle.
Tuesday, March 6 – Traffic Arrest; arrested was Kimberly Stone, age 24, of Robinson Avenue Bennington, VT. Subject was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed operation and equipment violation.
Burglary Investigation on High Street. Report of three males leaving a vacant home at about 4:30 pm. Subject had no permission and fled in a vehicle with Vermont plates heading north on High Street.
Wednesday, March 7 – Traffic Arrest on High Street; arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance was Kristen Westerman, age 35, of Elm Street, Hoosick Falls.
Traffic Arrest, drugs; arrested was Erik Clancy, age 37, of Beech Street Bennington, VT. Subject was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance. Subject remanded to Rensselaer County Jail.
Friday, March 9 – EMS on Main Street. Intoxicated Subject fell, was treated at scene but refused medical attention. Transported home.
Investigation of found pills by children on Main Avenue.
Saturday, March 10 – Larceny of beer at Cumberland Farms. Arrested for Petit Larceny was Wade Parker, age 27, of 41 Church Street. Issued Appearance ticket to appear in Village Court on April 12.
Investigation of a Domestic Dispute on Rensselaer Street
EMS on Pine Street
Suspicious Vehicle on Hoosick Street
Investigation of a Domestic Dispute on Rensselaer Street (second time)
Burglary Investigation Fourth Street
EMS of Intoxicated Subject on Church Street. Subject injured and transported to Southwest Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.
