Developer Ken Brownell appeared before the Planning Board at its regular meeting on Monday, March 19. He is planning to subdivide the Baker’s Nursery property on Route 22. One parcel will contain a general merchandise store, Family Dollar. He will complete a subdivision application and come before the Board again at its April 16 meeting.

An attorney representing William Brownell came before the Board for a second time with a request from Brownell to divide his Walloomsac farmland into three lots and gift it to his children. One lot would include the former Columbia Box factory. Lot one is 27¾ acres, lot two is 103 acres and lot three is 45½ acres. The Board declared the property a family subdivision.
At last month’s meeting it was mentioned that the Brownells will be approaching the Zoning Board at some point requesting a variance to turn the mill into a recycling center.
Breese Hollow Property
Attorney Ed Gorman appeared before the Board representing Nancy Reitz of 638 Breese Hollow Road. She wishes to retain 228 acres and sell 70 plus acres on Breese Hollow Road. The Board declared the land a two lot simple subdivision.
Judy Kelly appeared before the Board with questions as to the best way to take care of ensuring a driveway into her property on Spicer Hill Road, County Route 105. She was advised to come to the April meeting with a completed boundary line adjustment application.
Changes In Laws
The Board requested Attorney Denis King to write a letter to the Town Board asking what action has been taken regarding any changes to the Town’s junk yard law and trailer law. King said he would draft a letter for the Board to review for its approval.[/private]
