Some March Events At The New Lebanon Library

March 23, 2012 By eastwickpress

These New Lebanon Library March events are free and open to the public and will take place at the Library, which is located at 550 State Route 20, ¼ mile north of the yellow blinking light at the intersection of Routes 20/22.
Jason Webster Concert
Berkshire singer/songwriter and guitarist Jason Webster will be performing at the Library on Friday, March 23, from 7 to 9 pm.  He will perform a combination of original pieces and folk/rock covers. While this event is free and open to the public, donations for the performer are appreciated.
Webster attended the Berklee College of Music.  His former band, Xavier a.k.a. Lord Hill, toured the country and the world with Arlo Guthrie. He has also performed with Little Feat, Kate Taylor, The Allman Brothers and Pete Seeger. The ever popular Jason Webster Band is a local favorite and allows him to showcase his original music.
Paws To Read
On March 24 at 9 am therapy dogs come to the Library, and children read to their furry friends, and, of course, the dogs listen! Please call 518-794-8844 to register.
Women’s Clothing Exchange
The Library will host “Swap Not Shop!,” a women’s clothing exchange, on Monday, March 26, at 6:30 pm. This event is intended for adults, teens and children accompanied by adults.
Interested participants should bring a bag of gently used, clean women’s clothing and accessories to the Library and an additional empty bag. After the swap, patrons will leave with their bag filled with “new to you” items. Any leftover items will be donated to Goodwill.
Family Movie Night
On Friday, March 30, at 6:30 pm a current film suitable for the whole family will be shown. Snacks will be provided.
For further information on these events, please call the Library at 518-794-8844.
