Ethel Simmons Award Essays Due May 1

Applications are being accepted for the Ethel Simmons award of $300. This award is open to high school seniors in public or private school or who are home schooled and who are residents of the Town of Grafton.
The award of $300 will be awarded to the student who submits the best essay on some aspect of Grafton history.
Application forms are available at the guidance offices of Berlin High School and Tamarac High School and at the Grafton Community Library or on line at the Library website or the Historical Society website. Applications may be submitted in person to the Grafton Community Library by closing time on Tuesday, May 1, or by mail to Grafton Community Library. P.O. Box H, Grafton, NY, 12082, postmarked by May 1.
The award is co-sponsored by the Grafton Historical Society and the Grafton Community Library. For more information please call Anne at 235-8317 or email GHS12082.
