Hunter Education Course In Berlin

A hunter education class sponsored by the Rensselaer County Sportsman Education Program will be offered at the Berlin Rod and Gun Club on Plank Road in Berlin on Monday, April 30, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, Friday, May 4, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and Saturday, May 5, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. All three sessions must be attended and students must demonstrate proper attitude and safety and pass the test. This course is free, but you must pre-register by calling Rob at 518-573-4261.
All new hunters, bowhunters and trappers must receive training before getting their first license. Instructors authorized by the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation donate their time to maintain safe, ethical and responsible hunting. To find another course if this one is full, call 518-357-2070. If you have a disability and this course is unable to accommodate your needs, call the Region 4 Coordinator, Michael Clark, at 607-652-2456.
