In Tuesday action at Cambridge Central School, Cody "Maverick" Gaines slides into second base in the fifth inning. Gaines’ aggressive slide caused the Cambridge second baseman to make an errant throw to first, allowing Tanner Williams to score the go ahead run. Hoosick Falls (3 - 2, 2 - 1) went go on to win the game 3 - 1. Junior Billy Pine pitched six innings, recording 9 strikeouts. The team plays Stillwater on Thursday at 4:15 on the HFCS field.
