Valley Community Farmers Market Meeting

Our Valley Community Farmers Market (OVCFM) will hold its first meeting of the 2012 season on April 17 at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the Berlin Seventh Day Baptist Church (North Main Street). Anyone interested in knowing more about the market – especially those interested in vending – is encouraged to attend. The meeting will include a discussion of OVCFM’s Market Handbook and policies, answer questions about New York State and Rensselaer County regulations, move toward creating a Market Committee and review community involvement.
OVCFM is open to Taconic Valley businesses and residents selling a variety of items including fresh produce, eggs, maple syrup, baked goods, meats, dairy products and crafts as well as other items. The Market is housed at 18 Brimmer Farm Road in Berlin; the 2012 market season will run June 20 through September 2 (Sundays and Wednesdays).
