Brownies Visit The Stephentown Fire Department

May 18, 2012 By eastwickpress

submitted by Robin D. Krause, Brownie Troop #1101
On April 23, Brownie Troop #1101 visited the Stephentown Fire Department for a tour and safety demonstration. The Brownies were shown the tools aboard each fire truck as well as the life saving equipment that is housed in the ambulance. The EMT staff showed the Brownies how to properly use an oxygen mask and provided a demonstration on what to do if their mom, dad or another loved one becomes unconscious. The Brownies were also educated on what to say when there is an emergency and they need to call 911. Brownie Troop #1101 learned so much from the Stephentown EMT Staff and appreciate all that Stephentown Fire and EMT staff do for our community.

The Stephentown EMTs and the Brownies who visited them on Monday, April 23, are Rik McClave Assistant Chief - EMS, Kylieann Krause, Hailey Beckwith, Sophie Ericson, Claire Barnum, Alannah Hayes, Jada Diaz, Julie Joyner - Lieutenant - EMS and Patti Goodermote - Captain-EMS.
