Participating in "I Love My Park Day," Congressman Chris Gibson (l) spent a couple of hours on Saturday, May 5, helping the Boy Scouts to spruce up Grafton Lakes State Park. Gibson worked with these scouts from Troop 53 in Castleton cleaning up brush, trash and dead fall wood around the beach area at Long Pond. The flag of the Petersburgh Troop 222 can be seen in the background, but those scouts were busy cleaning up the Rabbit Run picnic area. Later Gibson also worked with other scouts from the Mahikan Council clearing out trees that had grown up through the blueberry bushes in the Dunham Reservoir Area. (David Flint photo)
