Mike Schmich Honored At Westfield State

Mike Schmich, a resident of Stephentown and a student at Westfield State University, has been selected by the Massachusetts Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (MAHPERD) as an Outstanding Future Professional. This award is given to undergraduate students who have demonstrated dedication to the Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance profession and have shown contributions to their college and community. The award will be presented to Mike at MAHPERD’s Honors/Awards Banquet on Sunday, May 6. The reception and banquet will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel, 5400 Computer Drive, Westborough, MA, at 12 noon.
