Upcoming St. Mary’s Events

May 11, 2012 By eastwickpress

An Afternoon Of Drama
The sixth and seventh-graders of St. Mary’s Academy in Hoosick Falls invite community members to attend an afternoon of drama on Wednesday, May 16, at 1 pm in the school gym. The sixth-graders will perform a comical version of the ancient Greek myth “Flying High And Its Dangers: The Story of Daedalus and Icarus.” Based on their study of the Aztecs, the seventh-graders will perform a myth entitled “How Quetzalcoatl Found The Sun.”
The students have been rehearsing since October and are eager to share their plays with the SMA student body and the local community. We hope you will join us for a fun afternoon and see what SMA is all about.
Car Wash
Welcome Spring with a clean car, van or truck. St. Mary’s seventh and eighth-graders are sponsoring a community-wide car wash on Saturday, May 19, from 9 am to noon at the SMA parking lot.
The car wash costs $5 and our students will make sure your vehicles are squeaky clean. All proceeds will benefit St. Mary’s Academy. Hope to see you there!
