Vet Establishes Clinic In Hoosick

May 4, 2012 By eastwickpress

by Bea Peterson
Dr. Lee Delaney graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990 and a week later he started his first veterinary job. Since then he has worked in clinics and animal emergency hospitals in Williamstown and Pittsfield, MA, Latham, Glens Falls, West Mountain, Chatham, Saratoga and Rutland, VT, and from his home in nearby Shaftsbury, VT. [private]”In 21 years I’ve learned there are many different ways of doing things,” he said. “There are many treatments available today, and I like to give folks options when it comes to caring for their pets.” What is most

important to him is that people and pets like coming to his clinic. “I treat all the animals like they were my own,” he added.
Dr. Delaney and his wife and office manager, Mary, have completely refurbished the property they purchased several months ago at 4997 Route 67 in Walloomsac. It is now a bright and attractive animal clinic. Delaney notes it is a clinic, not a hospital. Animals will not be kept overnight. The clinic has a reception area, an examining room, a laboratory, a surgery and a recuperating area. All the rooms have been redesigned from their previous use and are freshly painted, thanks to Mary’s hard work.
Dr. Delaney treats all domestic animals. For many years he has treated a small number of horses and cows, and he will continue to do so.
The clinic is open Monday through Friday and evenings and Saturdays by appointment. For more information call 518-205-5020.[/private]
