Karate Students Promoted To Black Belt In Stephentown

June 29, 2012 By eastwickpress

submitted by Sensei Robert M. Fish
On Monday, May 21, I had the honor and privilege of promoting the following people to 2nd Degree Black Belt – Jess Court, Katherine Court, Patricia Court and Ken Barber. Nathaniel Court was promoted to 2nd Degree Jr. Black Belt. These promotions are a testimony to their continued pursuit of excellence in the Martial Arts. They are valued students and trusted instructors. These promotions are recognized by the following organizations – John Izzo’s Okinawan Karate Association, Green Island Academy of Martial Arts and Stephentown Self Defense Systems. As always we wish to thank the Stephentown Youth Commission for their support as well as the Town of Stephentown for the use of the Town Hall.
Fourth Degree Black Belt Tim Etman and 3rd Degree Black Belt Alex Bassallo assisted me in the testing and promotions of these students.
