On May 28, in brand-new, custom-made, 100th birthday T-shirts and towing a three-tiered birthday cake, 80 Hoosick Falls Girl Scouts and their leaders marched in the annual Memorial Day Parade. [private]In their bright green T-shirts, funded by HAYC3 through the Drug-Free Community Grant, and 100th birthday glasses, the girls walked the parade route on a beautifully sunny day waving American flags and showing off the incredible Girl Scout spirit of Hoosick Falls.

Girl Scouts, near and far, young and young-at-heart, began the anniversary celebrating on March 12, 2012, 100 years after Juliette Gordon Low organized the first United States Girl Guide troop in Savannah, Georgia.
