New Lebanon Library June Events

All of these events are free and will take place at the library which is located at 550 State Route 20.
• June 8 – Cheryl Bickford in concert – 6:30 pm. Acoustic music with a spiritual flavor.
• June 13, 20, 27 (event is on Wednesdays) – Tales for Tots Story Hour – 10:30 am. Story hour includes crafts, songs and movement activities.
• June 13, 20, 27 (event is on Wednesdays) – Hug-A-Bye Babies – noon. Age appropriate stories, songs and movement activities for our youngest patrons and their caregivers.
• June 14, 21, 28 (event is on Thursdays) – Bright Beginnings Story Hour and Play Group -11 am to 2 pm. Meet other parents and care providers while your child aged 0-5 hears a story, then socializes with other children in an unstructured, educational setting.
• June 15 – Family Movie Night – 6:30 pm. Showing of a current film suitable for the whole family. Call for title, 518-794-8844.
June 16 – Paws-to-Read – 9 am. Therapy dogs come to the Library and children read to their furry friends. And, of course, the dogs listen! Please call 518-794-8844 to register.
• June 18 – New Farmer Narrative Project – 7 pm. New Farmer Narrative Project kicks off with a one hour documentary, “Small Farm Rising.” Discussion and light refreshments follow.
• June 21 – Community Film Night – 7 pm. The film is “Gasland.”  Discussion to follow.
• June 22 – Dana Welts in concert – 6:30 pm. Acoustic music with a joyful tone that resonates with the soul of the sixties.
• June 28 – Build a Sunflower Castle – 1 pm. Help build a castle of sunflowers for the whole town to enjoy.
• June 28 – Family Crafts Night – 6:30pm. All materials provided. Suitable for the whole family.
• June 29 – The Limbshakers – 6:30 pm. An evening of jazz and swing with Allen Livermore and his band.
