[private]District 5 Rensselaer County Legislators Stan Brownell and Lester Goodermote sent a letter to the NYS Department of Transportation recently to find out the status of road surfacing of the deteriorated section of Route 22, particularly from center Berlin to the Columbia County border south of  Stephentown. Brownell commented, “As you will see by the map they have no plan for FY 2012-13, which means this will take us until March 31, 2013. Maybe 2013-14 FY.”

The NYS DOT Capital District Highway Projects for 2012-2013 map shows Rensselaer County projects. Number 6, the large disk, indicates a local project. Map courtesy of Stan Brownell, District 5 Legislator.
