Stephanie Rawling Of Stephentown Has Gallery Exhibition At HVCC

Artwork created by Stephanie Rawling of Stephentown was included in the 2012 Juried Student Exhibit at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. The year-end exhibition was on view in the College’s Teaching Gallery from April 20 to May 5, featuring work by students enrolled in the College’s Fine Arts Department.
This year’s exhibit was juried by Elizabeth Dubben, Gallery Director at Saratoga Arts, a community arts center in Saratoga Springs, NY. The show included more than 120 pieces in a variety of media, including video, by nearly 65 artists. Purchase prizes were awarded to Emily Blacker, Morgan Kunz and Jared Schafer. The exhibition was installed by Gallery Management students Laura Dillon, Maxwell Goodknight, Anneliese Holmes and Rebecca Vitarelle.
Stephanie Rawling exhibited a video entitled  Video Poem in the 2012 Juried Student Exhibit.
Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business, Engineering and Industrial Technologies, Health Science and Liberal Arts and Sciences that includes the Department of Fine Arts, Theatre Arts and Broadcast Communications. Students may pursue Associate in Science degrees in Fine Arts, Gallery Management and Theatre Arts, an Associate in Applied Science degree in Broadcast Communications or a certificate in Digital Media.

Hudson Valley Community College has an enrollment of more than 13,500 students and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. It also operates an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. The College, which will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2013, has more than 65,000 alumni.
