Cambridge Area Branch Of The Woman’s Farm And Garden Scholarship Recipients

The Cambridge Area Branch of the Woman’s Farm and Garden is pleased to announce that the recipients of a $300 scholarship are Brandon Warnke of Cambridge Central School and Matty Blair of Hoosick Falls Central School. Scholarships are awarded to seniors who plan to pursue their college education in environmentally related careers.

Matty Blair

Matty is the daughter of Jennifer Jarvis and has been very active in extracurricular activities at school and in the community.  She has been a member of Student Council for four years and served as the President.  She is a girl scout and has also been involved in the Drama and Choir programs over the past four years.  She will be attending Paul Smith College where she will be enrolled in an Environmental Studies program.
Brandon is the son of J. Christopher and Susan Warnke and has been an athlete during his entire high school career, playing football and lacrosse. He will be attending Hudson Valley Community College where he will be studying Bio Technology.  His future plans will be to work in the Forensic Science field.
Congratulations to both students and their families.
