The public is invited to attend. The guest speaker is Todd Burdick, the Director of Interpretation and Public Programs at Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield, MA. He will present a lecture, demonstration and exhibit of the arts and crafts of the Shakers, including the iconic oval box. The values of simplicity in design and quality craftsmanship embraced by the Shakers will be explored.
