Stephentown Historical Society Community Tag Sale

July 27, 2012 By eastwickpress

The Stephentown Historical Society will host the fifteenth annual Community Tag Sale on Saturday, July 28, at the grassy field south of Gardner’s Coffee Shop on Route 22 in Stephentown.  Gather your items to sell for yourself or to donate to support the Society.  Selling spaces are available for individuals or other organizations for $10. The tag sale will run from 9 am to 3 pm, with a rain date of Sunday, July 29.
Your donation of clean, usable items will help support the Society’s programs. Clothing, large appliances, computers, computer equipment, televisions, plastic Christmas decorations, records or VHS tapes will not be accepted.  Small appliances should be in working order.  Please call 658-2605 or 733-5170 to arrange for drop off of your donated items at the Heritage Center, to reserve a selling space or for any other questions.
An added attraction this year will be the Chinese Auction sale of four boxes of Crane’s finest stationery. The winners will be the highest bidders.
Vendors should arrive no earlier than 8 am on the day of the sale. The fee for a selling space is $10;  no tables, chairs or shade are provided.
This event has attracted a large crowd of shoppers in past years at the highly visible location in the grassy field south of Gardner’s Coffee Shop on Route 22 in Stephentown. Again, the tag sale will be on Saturday, July 28, from 9 am to 3 pm, with a rain date of  Sunday, July 29.
