Todd R. Denue

Poestenkill – Todd R. Denue, 36, of Snyders Corners Road, Poestenkill, NY, died suddenly on Monday, July 23, 2012, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Sand Lake, NY. Born in Troy, NY, Todd was the son of Muriel Young Denue and the late Allen Richard Denue. Todd was raised and educated in Grafton, NY, and was a graduate of Berlin High School. He received his Associate’s Degree from HVCC and had attended SUNY Utica. Todd had worked for Zwack, Inc. in Stephentown, NY, and for the past eight years had been a Journeyman Mechanic with the International Association Heat & Frost Insulators Local #40. Todd enjoyed riding his Harley, restoring his hot rod and stock car and drag racing at Lebanon Valley Speedway.
Survivors include his fiancée, Crisy Geerholt of Poestenkill, his son, Cadyn Denue of Poestenkill, his mother, Muriel Denue and Wayne Clayton of Grafton, his brother, Shawn A. and wife Jessica Denue of Stephentown, his sister, Paige M. Denue of Grafton, his nephew, Armond Denue, Crissy’s family, Patricia Smith of Averill Park, NY, Tami and husband Everett Carter of Stephentown, Kimberly Mainville of Averill Park, Miracle Carter, Gabby and Ruby Mainville and Gary Smith of Stephentown, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services are Friday, July 27, at 10 am at the West Stephentown Baptist Church, 1672 NY 43, West Stephentown, NY. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the church on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, West Stephentown.
If desired, donations in memory of Todd R. Denue may be made to the Caydn Denue Education Fund, c/o CAPcom, 233 North Greenbush Road, Troy, NY, 12180.
