Brianna Sawyer of Hoosick Falls recently graduated from the Navy Recruit Training Command at Great Lakes, IL. Sawyer graduated as a member of the Triple Threat Division #936, which received Chief of Naval Operations Hall of Fame Honors for superior performance in all aspects of training. Sawyer performed as a member of the state flag drill and marching division, proudly carrying the New York State flag.
Upon completion of recruit training, Sawyer departed for Pensacola Naval Air Station for studies centered on naval aviation ordinance and rescue swimming qualifications. Upon completion of this training, Sawyer will await permanent orders related to aircraft ordinance.
