Governor Signs Bill For Hoosick Falls Armory

It’s official. The Armory now belongs to the Hoosick Area Youth Center and Community Coalition. On August 1 Governor Cuomo signed the bill passed unanimously by the NYS Senate and Assembly that gave the Hoosick Falls Armory on Church St. to HAYC3 for one dollar. [private]The final step will be when the Office of General Services signs over the deed to the not-for-profit organization.
It is expected the Town of Hoosick offices will remain in the building, under a new rental agreement, for at least six months.
A date for the deed transfer and for HYC3 to begin occupying the building has not been set.[/private]
