Jon Luke Beauregard

Grafton – Jon Luke Beauregard, 17, of Claus Road, Grafton, NY, died on Monday evening, August 13, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY, after suddenly being stricken by a medical condition at home. Death was attributed to natural causes.
Born December 7, 1994, in Troy, Jon was preparing to enter his senior year at Tamarac High School in Brunswick, NY. A life long resident of Grafton, Jon was a communicant of Our Lady of the Snow Roman Catholic Church in Grafton. Baseball was his life! He was a member of the Junior Varsity Baseball team at Tamarac. He was also an avid fan of both the New York Yankees and New York Giants. Jon was constantly helping  his grandparents and his Uncle Joe. Besides baseball, his hobbies included golf, Dungeons and Dragons and computer games.
Jon is survived by his mother, Marie E. Claus, his father, Donald A. Beauregard, and his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Margaret Claus, all of Grafton, his paternal grandfather, George Hathaway of Troy, his godmother, Laurie Hathaway of Troy, his aunts and uncles, Leonard and wife Sheri Claus Jr. of Schaghticoke, NY, Joseph and wife Barbara Ann Claus of Grafton and Thomas and wife Ellen Claus of Sanford, NC, along with many cousins and friends. He is pre-deceased by his paternal grandmother, Betty Hathaway.
A Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Kenneth Gregory on Saturday, August 18, at 10 am in Our Lady of the Snow Roman Catholic Church, 31 Owen Road, Grafton. Inurnment will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery in Petersburgh, NY. The family will begin receiving visitors at the Church on Saturday beginning at 9 am.
Memorial contributions are suggested and may be given to either the Grafton Rescue Squad, P.O. Box G, Grafton, NY, 12082, or the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York, Three Washington Square, Albany, NY, 12205. Arrangements are under the direction of the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home of Petersburgh.
