Kevin Edward Weber of Stephentown recently graduated from Norwich University. He earned a Bachelor of Science-Biology from the School of Math and Science. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude with High Honors 3.30-3.59 GPA. He was a four year member of Norwich swim team and its captain for two years. He was a finalist in the New England Swimming Championship every year.
During graduation Weber was commissioned in the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. He was an Army Distinguished Graduate. A United States Army Cadet who graduates as a Distinguished Military Graduate represents the top twenty percent of Cadets across the nation. To be considered the Cadet must graduate with a baccalaureate degree and must attend and successfully complete LDC at Fort Lewis, Washington. Additionally, these Cadets have achieved academic excellence, demonstrated exceptional military skills and leadership potential beyond their peers.
Weber was also was a recipient of the Col. Conrad Whitney Award given to the top graduate from Norwich in the Army branch. He is currently at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and will relocate to Fort Rucker, Alabama, in September. He will then begin his career in aviation.
Kevin is the son of Victor and Trish Weber and sister of Liz Weber, who also attends Norwich University.
Norwich was founded in 1819 and is the nation’s first private military college, Recognized by the Department of Defense as the birthplace of ROTC.
