Origami Accordion Book Workshop

Create your own Origami Accordion Book,  a beautiful example of handmade “book art” that makes a treasured keepsake, diary or unique gift for holidays, weddings or birthdays at the workshop that will be taught by Donna Maria de Creeft on September 15, from 10 to 11:30 am. A fee of $25 per person includes materials. The workshop must have a minimum of ten participants and will be held at the HAYC3 Center.
De Creeft has exhibited her one of a kind artist’s books in the United States and abroad. Some of her venues include North Main Gallery in Salem, NY, The Center for Book Arts in NYC, Central Booking and Proteus Gowanus in Brooklyn, ArtSites in Riverhead, Long Island, and the on-line catalogue for the 2010-2011 traveling show, “Your Documents Please” (http://YourDocumentsPlease.com/). Her work is in the permanent collections of The Center for Book Arts, The University of Southern Maine, Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital and the library collections of The Brooklyn Museum, Bryn Mawr College and Rutgers University.
