Veterans Hall At The Schaghticoke Fair

August 24, 2012 By eastwickpress

What have you done for your Rensselaer County Veteran lately? Here is your chance to do something really good – bring her or him to the Veterans Hall building at the Schaghticoke Fair.
Veterans Hall is a group of volunteers who are honoring local Veterans by compiling a comprehensive list of Rensselaer County Veterans from the Civil War to the present. Getting a Veteran’s name on the list is free, easy and a great way to ensure that your Veteran’s service will be remembered.
While you are at Veterans Hall, take some time to browse the memorabilia we have collected, have some refreshments and visit with other Veterans, their family members and friends. Donations or loans of memorabilia, volunteers or financial support are welcome.
The Veterans Hall Building, located behind the grandstand, is open during normal Fair business hours from August 29 – September 3. Please call Jody Luskin at 663-8156 or Kim Miklas at 663-9970 for more information.
