On Saturday, September 8, the Berlin Girls Varsity Soccer Team beat New Lebanon 7-1 to earn third place in the New Lebanon Tournament. Three goals were scored by Maggie Gordon and Jewel Pietrzak. Briana Hebert also scored. Maria Gordon assisted on two of the goals, and Maggie Gordon also chipped in with one assist. It was a great team victory with midfielders and defense giving great support! Jodi Thomas had a good game in goal with 10 saves for Berlin.
