Deborah Springer

Hoosick – Deborah Lee (Kilton) Springer, 61, passed away from lung cancer on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, NY, surrounded by her loving family. Debbie leaves behind her husband and soul mate of 18 years, Robert Springer.
Debbie was born to the late Clarence and Millicent (Bryant) Kilton on December 14, 1950, in Caribou, ME.  She is pre-deceased by her sisters, Maureen Roberts and Jean Roche, and her sisters-in-law, Lucy Mosley and Patricia McGarvin.
Debbie had a strong, loving heart and shared that love with all she knew. She had an unconditional love for her family and friends and her pets, Simon and Angel. Debbie loved spending time at camp and playing Nertz and games on the computer.
Debbie graduated from Meriden High School in Connecticut. She was a member of the Clifton Park/Halfmoon (NY) Volunteer Fire Department for several years. Debbie was a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn in Latham, NY, and worked at Cap Snap Industries.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her daughter, Bobbie Jean Day of Clifton Park, NY, and her beloved granddaughter, Samantha English, her son, James Springer and wife Sheila of Rock City Falls, NY, her daughters, Bobbie Jo Sponnable and husband Jerry of Missouri and April Lopez and husband Rick of California, her brother, Julian and wife Junie Kilton of Myrtle Beach, SC, her grandchildren, Amber, Robert LaDona, Makenzie, Thomas, Jeremy and Bryant, her great-grandchildren, Sabrina and Matthew, her special niece, Kimberly (Pooh) Taylor of Connecticut, her special friend, Mary Colon of Ballston Spa, NY, her mother-in-law, Hazel Springer, her in-laws, Charles Springer and wife Alice and Roland Springer of Eagle Bridge, NY, Richard Springer and wife Marcia, Sally Whittet and husband Steve and Dorothy Dawley and husband Charlie, all of Hoosick Falls, NY, Joe Springer and wife Linda of Buskirk, NY, Gerry LaFlamme and husband Gary of Bennington, VT, and Harold Moseley of West Hoosick, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, September 30, at 2 pm in the West Hoosick Cemetery on the West Hoosick/Buskirk Road, (across from the West Hoosick Baptist Church). Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Karen McGovern Memorial Fund through the funeral home. Following the services a reception will be held at the West Hoosick Baptist Church.
