Hoosick Falls Man Arrested For Rape

On Monday, September 24, at around 3:30 pm the Hoosick Falls  Police Department responded to a reported unknown problem at a residence on Church Street in Hoosick Falls. Upon the arrival of patrols, a 21 year old man was located in a bedroom. The male subject refused to exit the bedroom and, after a brief struggle, was placed under arrest. An underage female was located and as a result of the investigation it was determined that the male subject did have sexual intercourse with her.
[private]The male, Kyle Winters of 125 Church Street in Hoosick Falls, has been charged with  Rape 3rd, Sexual Abuse, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration, Harassment 2nd and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.
The subject was arraigned in the Village of Hoosick Falls Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.[/private]
