Hoosick Falls Police Defuse Situation

On September 6 the Hoosick Falls Police Department responded to an incident involving a 46 year old male subject whose family members reported that he was acting in a strange manner and that he had several weapons in his house. [private]Upon arrival of patrols the subject refused to come out of his house. After several attempts the officers were able to convince the subject to come out of the house, and after a brief struggle the officers were able to secure the subject and place him under arrest. A search of the house by police found several rifles as well as several boxes of ammunition. The subject was transported to Samaritan Hospital in Troy.[/private]
