The Presentation Of Options For The Village Of Hoosick Falls Dissolution Plan

Residents of the Village of Hoosick Falls are invited to a public meeting on Wednesday, October 10, for a presentation of the Committee’s Options for the Future of Hoosick Falls, including a description of options for potential dissolution of the Village. The meeting will be held at 6 pm at the John Murphy Senior Center, 69 Church Street.
[private]There will be a second meeting on Thursday. October 18, at 6 pm also held al the John Murphy Senior Center, 69 Church Street, for the specific purpose of receiving feedback on the Options for the Future of Hoosick Falls report. The Committee will then consider the feedback received for the creation of a final report that will be given to the Village Board.
The Village’s Dissolution Study Committee has been conducting a study since May of 2012 with assistance from the study consultant, the Rochester-based Center For Governmental Research (CGR). The Options for the Future of Hoosick Falls will be presented by CGR on behalf of the Committee. The report will be available on October 4 for the public to read prior to the meeting at www.cgr.org/hoosick and will also be available to be picked up at the Village Hall prior to the meetings. Committee members will attend and will also answer questions from the public.
The dissolution study is funded through a State grant.[/private]
