William O’Brien

Hoosick Falls – William O’Brien, 55, passed away on August 13, 2012, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT. He had resided on Mechanic Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.
Born on September 2, 1956, in Bennington, William was the son of the late William and Melva (Telford) O’Brien. He attended Cambridge Central School and worked at several area farms and at Hoosick Statuary.
Survivors include his sisters, Patricia and husband Tim Wright of Buskirk, NY, and Noreen and husband Ron Hall of Petersburgh, NY, his brother, Dale O’Brien and wife Rhonda of Ohio, and his aunt, Dorothy Jacobson of Greenwich, NY, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is pre-deceased by a sister, Shirle Shiland, and a brother, Michael O’Brien.
Services were at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were handled by the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.
