Patricia Lohnes

October 19, 2012 By eastwickpress

Hoosick Falls – Patricia Lohnes, 70, formerly of Hoosick Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012, at her home in Canon City, CO, after a long, courageous battle with pancreatic and lung cancer.
Born in the “old” Hoosick Falls Health Center on Hall Street on February 27, 1942, she was the daughter of Ralph and Ida (Domonic) Davendonis. She spent her childhood and early life in Hoosick Falls, graduating from St. Mary’s Academy in 1959. Pat worked at the “old” Grand Union which was on the site of the present day Rite Aid. Many will remember her as an avid bowler for many years as one of the Sharkettes team.
She moved, with her husband Charlie, to Colorado in 1969 where they raised their family and she continued her involvement in bowling. She retired from Ceramaseal Inc. in Colorado.
Survivors include her husband, Charles A. Lohnes, her sons, Christopher Haynes of Binghamton, NY, and Dennis Haynes and Gregory Haynes of Canon City, her daughters, Ann Berner of Canon City, Trisha Hightower of Colorado, Jennifer Lohnes of Tuscon, AZ, and Darcy and husband Clint Crites of Canon City, her siblings, Ralph Peter and wife Sharon Davendonis and Joseph and wife Diane Davendonis, both of Hoosick Falls, her thirteen grandchildren and her three great-grandchildren who will surely miss her warm and caring soul.
Burial will take place in Canon City at the convenience of the family. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a brief memorial prayer service immediately following the 12 noon Mass on Friday, October 19, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Main Street, Hoosick Falls.
