submitted by Megan Myers
Mr. Zachary Patrick Myers and Mrs. Megan Phyfe (Barrett) Myers of Babcock Lake in Grafton, NY, are proud to announce the arrival of their second born child, whom they named Skyla Jaide Myers. Skyla Jaide was delivered naturally at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT, on Monday, May 14, 2012, at approximately 6:10 in the morning. She arrived healthy, weighing 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 17.5 inches long with a full head of black hair. Skyla’s birth made Saige Iris Myers officially the “big sister.” Marshall Lee Barrett and Constance Wagner (Chatterton) Barrett of Ford Road in Pittstown, NY, are the maternal grandparents to Skyla Jaide. Her paternal grandparents are Terrance Paul Myers and Debra Jean Myers of Fox Hollow in Grafton. Skyla is the 16th great-grandchild to maternal great-grandparents Richard (Dick) Erwin Barrett and Lena May (Cary) Barrett from the former Lena’s Kitchen in Grafton. Skyla is the latest niece born to Shawn Paul Myers and April Ann (Stratton) Myers and youngest cousin to Taylor Erin Myers and Madison Reese Myers of White Creek, NY. Bridget Fawcett Barrett of Boston, MA, is now a second-time aunt due to Skyla’s birth.
