Bonnie J. MacDougall

Hoosick Falls – Bonnie J. (Gorman) MacDougall, 60, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at the Crescent Manor Nursing Home in Bennington, VT. She was the wife of John MacDougall of Hoosick Falls, NY.
Born on June 5, 1952, in Troy, NY, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Marion (Bartoski) and John P. Gorman Sr. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Hoosick Falls in the class of 1971. Bonnie was employed as a waitress at various establishments in Hoosick Falls. She loved country music and Elvis, was an avid Yankee fan, enjoyed dancing, miniature golf, trips to Lake George, NY, and cooking. Bonnie was a member of the Eagles Club and a former member of the St. Stanislaw Society, both in Hoosick Falls.
Survivors, other than her husband John, include her step-children, John MacDougall Jr., James MacDougall and Anne Marie Boudreau, all of Louisiana, and her siblings, John P. “Butch” Gorman Jr. and wife Peggy, Joseph P. Gorman and wife Regina, Richard E. Gorman, Francis X. “Frank” Gorman and wife Karen, Kevin M. Gorman, Sister Colleen A. Gorman S.F.C.C., Marion E. “Betty” Ortolani, Ann Marie Gates and husband Larry and Laurie A. Bianco and husband Tony. Bonnie is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is pre-deceased by two children, Amy Lynn and Robert Michael.
Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, on Thursday, November 15, from 6 to 8 pm. Committal services to inter her ashes will be Friday at 11 am at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hoosick Falls. The family would like to thank all the staff of the Crescent Manor Nursing Home for their loving care of Bonnie.
