Dale E. Stroffoleno

Hoosick Falls – Dale E. Stroffoleno, 47, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012, at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation in Bennington, VT, after a long battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease. He had resided on Abbott Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.
Born on December 3, 1964, in Bennington, Dale was the son of Jerry Bornt and Jean (Harrington) Day. He graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School. Dale was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked at the Mohawk Paper Mill until retiring because of health reasons. Dale enjoyed Dale Jarrett racing and the Rams football team.
Survivors include his daughter, Amie Cone and husband Brad of Eagle Bridge, NY, his son, Gregory Stroffoleno and wife Jeannie of Cambridge, NY, his brothers, Mark Stroffoleno and wife Melissa of Cambridge, Scott Stroffoleno and wife Jackie and Bruce Stroffoleno and Teresa Lassor, all of Hoosick Falls, his granddaughter, Karley, and Karen Flynn Elwell. The family would also like to thank and remember his caregivers, Kimm Leray, Rabecca Roberson, Kristina Wilkinson, Lee Ann Shaw-Spur and Dr. Marcus Martinez.
Relatives and friends called at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090, on Wednesday, November 14, from 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Karen McGovern Memorial Fund or the ALS Center through the funeral home.
