First Girl Born To Local Family In Over 60 Years – Phoebe Jane Ziehm

The Ziehm Family is proud to announce the arrival of Phoebe Jane Ziehm, the first girl born to the family in 63 years.  Born to Stuart and Jessica Ziehm of Buskirk, and her big brother, Franklin, Phoebe arrived on October 17, 2012 at 8:04 am at the Burdett Care Center in Troy.

Phoebe Jane, named after her late, great-grandmothers, Phoebe Ziehm and Jane Chittenden, weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
She is the granddaughter of Frank and Terry Ziehm of Buskirk, Sheila and Todd Hewitt of Berlin and Craig and Kathy Chittenden of Stephentown.
Phoebe Jane has also been dubbed as “Princess Tiashoke” in reference to being the only girl in three generations and joining six grandsons on the Ziehm’s family dairy farm.
