Lawrence E. Baldwin

Stephentown – Lawrence Edgar Baldwin, 70, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 11, 2012, after a long illness. Born May 5, 1942, in Troy, NY, he lived most of his life in the Berlin-Stephentown area. Larry was a member of the Laborer’s Local #452 and #190 construction unions since 1962. He helped build many roads, bridges and buildings in the area. He lived life to the fullest, enjoying every minute. Larry loved hunting, fishing, gardening and his dogs.
He leaves his wife of 40 years, Inez V. Baldwin, six children, Lawrence Jr., Daniel, Timothy, Heidi, Michael and Mary, four grandchildren, Josh, Nicole, Alex and Jade, four brothers, Ted, George, Jack and James, along with many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Howard R. and Geneva M. Oatman Baldwin, and two brothers, Howard and Billy.
Relatives and friends were invited to help celebrate Larry’s life at the Hall & Higgins Funeral Home, 457 NY 43, Stephentown on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm. Cremation will take place in Bennington, VT. There will be no formal services.
