Patches And Plaques – Three Hoosick Falls Central School Teams On The Way To The Regionals

A happy Panther Football team shows the winner’s plaque after its dominating performance in Stillwater against the Chatham Panthers for the Section II, Class C title last Friday, November 2. The Panthers (10 - 0, NY State #5) now move into the State playoffs. The HFCS Girls Varsity Soccer team keeps rolling along. After crushing Mechanicville 6-0, the team gathered in the cold on Tuesday night in Stillwater for a team photo with the winner’s plaque and their Sectional Title patches. In four sectional tournament games the Panthers have outscored their opponents 26-1. Hoosick Falls faces the winner of the Section VII/X regional playoff in the State quarterfinals on Saturday at Stillwater at 1:30 pm. This is the Panthers’ fifth Section II crown since 2001.
