Berlin – Sally Ann Gutermuth, 56, passed away on June 5, 2012. Sally was born October 22, 1955, to William D. Gutermuth and Lady Ricker Rucinski in Troy, NY. She grew up in Berlin and graduated from the Emma Willard School in Troy. She continued her studies in California in modern dance and music. Sally was a talented modern dancer, musician and artist, living a simple, happy and fruitful life.
She moved to Colorado in 2001 and enjoyed working in her garden, creating her own recipes from home-grown ingredients and playing her hand made instruments.
She is survived by her parents, her siblings, William Gutermuth, Jr. of Taylors, SC, Dan Gutermuth of Henderson, NV, Linda Fredericks of Newtonville, NY, Tracy Gutermuth of Saratoga, NY, Lauren Carrington of Cold Springs, NY, and Lady A. Rucinski of Schaghticoke, NY, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her sister, Karen Gutermuth.
For those wishing to join the family, weather permitting, there will be a gathering at the Berlin Cemetery prior to a celebration of Sally Ann’s life at the Colonial Inn, Main Street, Berlin, on November 25 at 1 pm.
